We observed the ordinance of the Lord’s Supper at the morning service.

  1. Remember, and think on, the death and sufferings of our Lord Jesus Christ.
  2. Think upon the bitterness and variety of Christ’s sufferings.
  3. Marvel at his willingness to suffer for his people.
  4. Reflect on the blessed effects and benefits of Christ’s sufferings.
  5. Meditate on the love which motivated him to choose this way of suffering.
  6. Give due weight to the evil of sin which necessitated his sufferings.
  7. Think on the holiness and justice of God displayed against sin.
  8. Consider that this supper, is a foretaste of the marriage-supper of the Lamb.

Evening service.
